In my opinion, I believe it's like that at all Walmarts. Walmart is a good company to work for. Lots of benefits, good people, it was an awesome job for team work. Meeting lots of new people. All around I love doing customer service. I am a people person. Pros Benefits. Cons Climbing ladder.

Software Engineer III. Great place to work everything electronic, Always busy,Very physical work. Fast Paced Work environment employees were helpful in every aspect.

Pay was not too Good. I stuck it out a year. All the managers, other than the store manager left the company within 5 years after my leaving. Corporate controls everything. Management is fine if you like being a sheep herder. My only issue with Walmart is that when I was working there and going to school they didn't want to work around my school schedule which really sucked.

For the place I worked for the manager there didnt quite understand what a human could handle as temperature wise, as I had to do a lot of the cold areas without proper equipment to handle the cold. Have gone in many times sick and was told to go in there regardless, claiming that it would do me good. Most of the complaints were more about management and not the co-workers as they were great to work with. It was a great place for the most part , I had previous experience so it was quite easy to pick up on everything fast , my co workers whenever I had a problem were extremely helpful and everyone was always happy.

Pros Benefits, the hours and my co workers were extremely helpful. How to be goal oriented, my high work pace. Teamwork ability. Loyalty and honesty. How to focus on my tasks and help others at the same time. Maturity level increased. Poor culture with very few and expensive benefits. Most people do not like the job they are performing. Some people do not care about their job. Pay raises are yearly and independent of your job performance, if a pay raise is given that year.

Pay raises never exceed minimum wage increases, which results in working for minimum wage for most employees, regardless of time vested with the company. No longer provide an ESOP package. Awesome environment and staff. Being an IMS associate at Walmart is a big responsibility managing the product from the truck to the sales floor which is something I took great pride in.

They would dangle advancing jobs in front of their employees to get more work out of them and never intend to promote them. Pay is meh. I personally was unable to take vacation days on the weekend because they let the two other people in the same position both have Friday and Saturday off.

Good morning enjoy people at work love working at Walmart it was a great work place for me it was the 1st job I ever had so I love Benin there 8 wood go back I had opportunity jo. Pros Kool fun and ok. Cons It was ok to be on time. Claimed Profile. By using this site, you agree that we may store and access cookies on your device. Click here to find out more. We document what they require from our software throughout its lifecycle, and analyse how the IMS Evolve application can deliver effective outcomes and solutions that are aligned with customer requirements.

Having that job straight out of school taught me the value and enjoyment in helping customers. I also learned a lot about Walmart systems and processes, which proved invaluable when I was approached to join what would become Walmart Technology, which was my first step into the world of retail technology.

However, after six successful years, Jacob heard about a Business Analyst position at Walmart. Jacob thrived in his new position, working on everything from Pharmacy Systems to Ordering and Invoicing, and after four years he became certified professionally as a Business Analyst through Saint Louis University.
